Winter Survival Program
This 15 hour program consists of classroom work, night-orientation, and an experience that will remain with you throughout your life. This program is designed to help you survive in the winter months. We will prepare you on how to build fire and shelter with a broken limb, along with Trip Planning, Signaling Devices, Hypothermia, and more. Snowmobiles are a must for this class.
Whether you're an individual or a group, this class is a confidence builder. If you do have a group, such as a snowmobile club, biking club, fishing and hunting club, etc., we can tailor these classes to meet your individual needs.

Wilderness Survival Program

Our Wilderness & Winter Wilderness Survival Programs were designed by our instructor, Dick Parker, trained in survival techniques by the US Army and the Maine Warden Training Academy. Our first students were employed by a national cellular telephone company, those employees servicing remote towers in all seasons and all weather conditions.

Along with teaching what one needs to know to survive, we will spend one night in the wild testing the newly learned skills. This 4-day, 3-night learning experience will last a lifetime. This class is not just for the avid outdoors person. It is for anyone, at any age. If you travel through rural to remote areas, this class could be a lifesaver. From building fires, constructing shelter, to collecting food items - any and all of what you learn during this course can and does save lives.
Survival isn't born in us, it is a learned experience. If you're ready to face a new challenge in the outdoors, give us a call and learn to enjoy the great outdoors with confidence and peace of mind.
