Capt. Kenneth E. Groder of Newburyport, MA, is a Master Maine Guide and a US Coast Guard Captain. Ken is our specialist in firearms as well as our Observation of Animals, Duck ID. Ken has over 55 years of experience in hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, and camping.

He is an active member of SAM and the NRA. Ken has a thorough knowledge of all waterfowl, animals, and fur bearers as well as their habits and habitats to help each student identify and feel comfortable with both their written and oral exams. He is a top notch instructor and has many years of experience in his field.
