Gregory J. Sarnacki is a Registered Maine Guide in Hunting, Fishing, and Recreation. From the age of 12 he helped his parents operate a small sporting camp in Lincoln, Maine. The experience of eating, breathing and living in the Maine woods and on the waters set the pace for Greg’s life. Greg assisted in a wide variety of hunters, fisherman, and recreators. Greg is very passionate about bow-hunting and fishing. He has fished many waters of Maine for all kinds of fish and thoroughly enjoys fishing the Florida Keys for Tarpon. As a member of Trout Unlimited, he is actively involved in helping to restore Maine’s coldwater fishing grounds. Greg served with the U.S. Army from 2001 to 2004 as a Special Operations Airborne Ranger. He served his country in Afghanistan and Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his combat experience with a job description of Fire Support Specialist and secondary training in advanced Infantry, Greg directed fire from attack helicopters, jets, AC130 gunships, mortars, and various artillery. With his specialized Army training he excels at Map and Compass, including night, and various terrain land navigation. Greg and his wife Christy, along with his Weimaraner Savannah and 3 cats, currently live in Kenduskeag, Maine. |
