"Aye, hi there maties. Oh sure, I know the location of that lighthouse sporting the position as one enters Saunders Harbor. Aye, took many shipwrecks before they listened to old Capt. Gilkey and raised her proud.

You be looking at the West Side approach coming in off West Penobscot Bay. Changed a bit from my time hauling sail on schooners; leaving wife and kids to home on Acre Island growing potatoes while I shipped out sailing all over the world. Nice though when breaking throught the fog seeing the old girl beaming at us. Home again, maties." - Anonymous
